If it's a heart shaped abdomen it is a Cremogaster. If it is more arrowhead shaped, and is being confused for T. sessile, then you could have a lasius. No expert here though...yet.

I've seen some Crematogaster around my area and their abdomen is shorter and rounder. This ant has more of an elongated, thin, arrowhead shape as opposed to a heart shape.
